4.3 stars average??? Impossible! 3rd February 2024 pool closed, vending machine EMPTY, pillow cover smell as someone just slept here and they didn't change it!! Internet ...what internet??? I called just 2 days ago and asked if pool and spa it's open and they said yes but it looks they never started the heater and just put a sign on the entrance saying water is cold due to broken heater!! Not to mention all trails arround them are all full of holes and doesn't seem to bother them...sorry but 1 star from me. First and last time here! Don't bother to answer this review! It's more expensive at Auberge du Lac Taureau but it worth going there 100%!!

Great location, excellent trail system ( chewed up by the end of every day), fuel station on site (only takes cash), hotel staff nice, rooms are just ok, breakfast and breakfast staff good, but dinner time wait staff/kitchen/bar staff were awful. Never got one meal correct all week, slow service, painful to deal with. And even worse, no apology for when the meals were wrong or incomplete. Oh, and Wi-Fi didn’t work all week. Beer was cold!!!

We stayed in this summer.The staff are not so friendly and non helpful at all. The water in the Indoor pool is not clear at all, we were not able to see the bottom of the pool even when diving with googles, I am not sure how clean the water is. This indoor pool needs renovation , also the rooms and lobby require renovations. The view in the Lake is very nice, however the water in the lake is almost black color and I don’t think it is suitable for swimming, at least not pleasant to go in the water or to do any water activities. Moreover some used their jet ski or boats in the lake which disturb the water activities.

We booked in July. It is a family run business. Beautiful view and lake access. There was aquatic equipment available like kayaks, peddle boats, paddle boards, 1 canoe and life jackets were supplied. Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas. We took a pontoon ride around the lake with good conversation with the owner and other guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms need a remodel or freshened up. They are worn down. The main power outlet where the night stand is, in our room, only powered one plug. Very inconvenient for our cell phones to be charged. The beds were way too soft for my liking. The satellite TV had maybe 6 channels all French. No AC, just a portable fan. The rooms did not get any wifi, only at reception and dining area and barely. They did not supply shampoo or body-wash. Only a 2 inch bar of soap. The faucet dripped all night. On the first day, I ordered a large salad - it cost $17!!! When I received it, I was shocked that it was a few iceberg lettuce leaves, tomato and cucumber in a bowl that fits the palm of my hand. Not even worth $2! We did not eat there again as there were no vegetarian options and the prices were ridiculous. You had to buy your own morning coffee too! There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room but no pods for coffee. Instead we bought our own groceries for our stay. Luckily they had a mini fridge in the room. When I complained about the salad, I was refunded though. The staff were very polite and friendly. Overall, it did not meet my expectations and I cannot recommend it. It is great for young families as there are many toys and games for the kids.
